Kick Start Riding & Driving School was registered on the 20th April, 2015 by Founder and CEO, Avellina Stacy Nelson. The business first opened its doors to the public as a riding school, making Ms. Nelson the first and only female Motorcycle Riding Instructor on island. One year later, Ms. Nelson's love for teaching led her to become a licensed driving instructor and Kick Start Riding School added driving to its curriculum.
The school operates with the vision 'to build a reputation of being the leading riding and driving school in St. Lucia and the wider Caribbean' and on a daily basis promote their mission of road safety, encouraging and assisting illegal motorists to get licensed, build confidence in learner drivers and to offer a one stop shop facility for the many needs of newly licensed drivers.
Kick Start Riding & Driving School like many other businesses began small. Currently the school has a complement of six instructors, to service the needs of its many customers. What continues to separate Kick Start from the others, is the quality of teaching, friendly approach of instructors, flexibility of sessions and free theory classes offered to the general public on a weekly basis.
